Third Financial continues exceptional new business momentum, attracting boutique wealth firm

29 Apr 2024

Investment platform Third Financial (Third), today announces a further new business win, as boutique discretionary wealth manager, Capital Financial Markets (CFM) signs a five-and-a-half-year partnership with the firm.

CFM is a traditional discretionary manager, with £160m AUM and an average client size of just over £0.5m.  Its approach is personalised investment management with high levels of service, where investment strategies are tailored to individual client needs.  With their assets currently split across two providers, CFM was looking to consolidate onto a single robust platform with a partner that could deliver the high service levels they require, alongside modern financial technology.

Ian Partington, Group CEO at Third Financial commented, “We’re delighted that CFM chose to partner with us.  We fully understand and support their client-centric focus because we apply the same high service levels to our own customers. The fact that CFM, as with the majority of our new wins, was introduced to us by an existing customer, is testament to this.  Our combined offering of industry-leading technology, knowledgeable people and great customer care is what sets us apart from other firms in this space.”

Paul Coffin, Founder and Managing Director at CFM added, “We value building relationships with our clients to offer a personalised service that stands the test of time.  Signing with Third provides us with a single, stable partner that we can depend on for the long-term, enabling us to deliver on our client promise and support our growth ambitions.”

Third’s investment platform is used by more than 70 wealth managers and advisers.  It provides the core processing, asset servicing and market connectivity for the management of over £50 billion of assets and delivers a full digital experience to wealth managers, advisers and their clients with the reassurance of friendly and expert support when required. Third has a net promoter score of +80, per its recent customer survey.
