Bespoke client apps now in-reach for more advisers, with new partnership

26 Oct 2022

A partnership announced today allows wealth managers and financial advisers to launch their own-branded, multi-function app for clients – without the need for external consultants or costly ongoing overheads.

The first example of the Third Financial and moneyinfo strategic partnership is the Kingswood Go app, which integrates Third’s investment platform service and moneyinfo’s advanced client experience software.

The interface saves time and cost for investment managers and advisers while giving them the tools to deliver an enhanced service to their clients.  It provides up-to-date portfolio valuations including transaction histories and investment returns, together with periodic valuations and contract notes. Value-added services such as CGT reports, CTC schedules, and costs and charges reports come as standard with its secure document delivery facility.  Report layouts are unique to each manager with bespoke asset allocation feeds.  Secure messaging provides for instant communication between internal users, clients and trustedthird parties such as intermediaries, directors, executors and trustees.

Tessa Lee, MD of moneyinfo explains: “This integration with Third Financial is easily our most significant and detailed integration to date in the wealth management space, eliminating the need for investment managers and advisers to manage their own data extraction or employ external consultants. Now the integrations will be managed and monitored by us on the investment managers’ behalf.

“Many integration projects in wealth management are bespoke for individual firms and the cost of developing and managing these is a huge ongoing overhead for those who often don’t have experience in delivering technology to end-clients. The moneyinfo / Third Financial partnership will now allow our mutual clients to deliver a fully branded app to their clients’ smartphones reflecting their unique valuation style and the rich content from Third Financial.

Harriet Griffin, Chief Operating Officer at Kingswood says: “It is vitally important that we deliver a consistent and best-of-breed client experience across the group, whilst allowing the individualistic nature of our portfolio of companies to thrive. Our Kingswood Go app, with Third content delivered by moneyinfo, provides this consistent client experience”.

Ian Partington, Group Chief Executive Officer of Third Financial added: “Third is continually investing in technology and service partners to deliver the optimum client and investment manager experience. This partnership with moneyinfo adds to the value we already provide via our Investment Platform service and portfolio management technology. We are delighted to have partnered with moneyinfo to provide a leading-edge client experience to our partners at Kingswood. We are particularly excited about being the first platform to offer automated document uploads, as well as asset allocation and investment return data, within moneyinfo’s app”.
